Editorial Photography

 

Editorial photo shoots are deliberate, creative endeavours which result in a range of images that consistently depict the correct tone of an offering. They can be used for print or online marketing and are generally tweaked to best suite the platform they’ll be featured on. They illustrate and inform and help to tell a story.

 

I have had wonderful opportunities to capture images for the purposes of editorial content. These are creative and collaborative and honestly, just wonderful fun for me. They require a fair amount of preparation and it is incredibly satisfying to see a vision realised. I have done a fair amount of work with  The Wooden Spoon Kitchen, photographing hearty, nutritious, homestyle dishes. It is a dream of mine to photograph a recipe book one day.

 

 

I also worked with KuNa to create a range of images for their range of gorgeous children’s clothing with colourful prints and bold designs. The shoot was action-packed and so much fun and the outcome represented the brand well.

 

 

I did a lovely little shoot for Petite Rouge to showcase their chalk paints and some process shots for a DIY tutorial.
